Welcome to PCHF

I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're saying, do you mean that as you were downloading the program, a partition was creating itself and moving free space from Drive1 to Drive2?

Have you done the pre-work? http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthi...a-prework.html

ok lemme try to clarify

My HD is split into 2 partitions, yesterday i was Dling a program using a torrent. When it finished i noticed that there was no remaining space on me C drive (the targeted drive was D).

I transfered the entire folder off of the pc and deleted the folder, in doing so i realized that teh 3gb which that program occupied went from my C drive to my D leaving 0Kb on my system drive.

Edit: i also cannot Dl any program due to my current situation but i followed allf the other steps which did nto invlove the program in the post you linked

Ooh, I see, sounds like you picked up a bug there.

I recomend you follow the following thread: http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthi...a-prework.html

Hope it helps
(I suggest running some anti-virus programs, if you want, Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan is a great online and free scanner)

I scanned the pc overnight with various programs and nothing was found.

Part of me thinks that the partition is not a true partition but a network drive, might this be an issue?

What OS are you running? This seems rather odd
