Try locating the folder that the setup for the program is in. This could be in C:\Program Files or wherever you installed the program to. Once you are there see whether there is an uninstall icon. What is the program that you are trying to remove?

Hi stacey, welcome to PCHF.

The uninstall information contains all the information you need to cleaning remove the software. Without this, there is no clean way to get rid of your programmes, so the best way to do this, is the way jake suggested, go to My Computer, Local Disk (C), Program Files, and see if you can see the program you would like to remove from here.

EDIT: Marked as answered.
