Default Slave drive not recognized

I just got a new computer and in my haste to hook up my secondary drive I got confused and connected slave drive at the end of the ribbon and the system drive where the slave should have gone. This fried my system drive, which I was able to rebuild from the recovery disc, but now my slave drive isn't being recognized. Or more precisely, I'm being told when I ask WIndow to "populate" it, that there's nothing on it. The computer "sees" the drive in the BIOS but lists it as unitialized. Is there a way around this, or is there a program like Mac Disk Warrior for the PC that can repair the slave.

thanks in advance.

Right click on the drive and format it Tune like in the shot below.

Do what Charlene says to do but instead of formatting it first you will have to initialize it..
