Default ? about raid drives

I am not sure where to post this question really. I am setting up a new server that has (2) 80gb sata hdd's. When I installed Windows XP Pro I used the F6 for the third party or raid drive option and that went smoothly. But, it only found the one drive. I checked the cabling, the jumpers, the bios settings. Everything is as it should be. They are both set as master drives. When the server is booting the bios screen shows two master drives listed. But, when you go into bios, only one is found. Also, when trying fdisk, only 1 drive is found. And of course, when in windows, in My Computer, only one drive is shown. Does anyone have any ideas. I have never worked with raid drives before. Also, I would like to mirror them, so that the second one would also be identical to the first one. If that is possible. I have other back up, but this is just one measure. As usual, I need the info ASAP. Thanks for any help.

Found the answer. Called tech support for the mfg. of the system. Come to find out, get this, I did it right. That's what I said, I did it right. You are not suppose to see the mirrored drive in a raid system if it is installed properly. You learn something everyday. At least I try to. Anyway, they said that when you start the pc, immediately hit the TAB key and it takes you into the RAID BIOS setup. It has everything in there that you need. If the main drive goes bad you just replace it with the second one as it is identical. Maybe, this will answer questions someone else has had or maybe I am the only one to come across it. This is my first experience setting up RAID Server. This is a very helpful site and I am really glad that I came across it and I know that I will be using it often. Thanks anyway.
