Unhappy Spoke Too Soon...blue Screen

The blue screen just showed up ....(I don't like uninvited guests) and this is what it says
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR I was downloading updates from microsoft when this happened. HELP PLEASE!!!

Default Seems OK .......

Well GaRHaR,
It seems to be working. We shall see if this is to be so however! I went to the link you rec. and followed directions to run chkdsk and restart. I then went back to windows update and proceeded to try to downloaded SP2 for XP. The browser closed on me , so I uninstalled SBC YAHOO Browser and was then able to download the SP2 update. I am now installing antivirus software and then if you are still here I will login from other computer (really like the smilies if you can't tell) and show you what it has.
