Yep, all you do is click on sound e.t.c. Say this is your Device Manager:
Within here I would note that I have a Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection and a Wireless PC Card Model 0104.
You can delete all your programs from
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs (except anthing with the words update or service pack). This is also a disk cleanup wizard which can be found in
Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools. You can also physically delete any files or folders you see in My Documents e.t.c. You can also take the PC through PCHF Prework on my signature, and post a log to make sure there is no malware on the PC.
All of this is fine, and would most likely be easier than a complete re-install. It's completely your preference. This is a easy route of clearing software off the PC, however the disadvantages here is that there is always some file, registry entry or setting left behind without you even knowing.
