Default [Fixed] Admin protected files, how do I delete?

Some time ago I removed the HD from an old computer and installed it in mine as a 2nd HD, it has 19gb of space on it but documents & files under the adminstrator account are taking up 7 of that. At first it wasn't a big deal but now it bugs me. Everytime I try to delete these files I get a "Not authorized" message. The computer originally had XP installed on it and I transferred the HD before clearing it, mistake? Anyway, how do I delete them? The HD specs are under the My PC link above.

Not sure 100% but I think can delete the protected files with unlocker

UNLOCKER 1.8.5 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB has worked for me a time or two for stubburn files.

Hi Zachary, there is a way to do it without use of any other sort of software - Windows is easily able to do it. Give me a minute - I'll write it up for you

If you're running XP Home - you must follow these steps from the Administrator account in Safe Mode.

Open My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options
Scroll down to "Simple File Sharing" and make sure it is turned off.
Apply and close all open "Explorer" windows (my computer, network places, my documents, windows explorer, etc etc)

Goto the folder that has "access denied" (don't open it).
Right click on the folder and select Sharing and Security...
Select the Security tab and click on Advanced down the bottom.
Select the Owner tab and then select your username (the one you normally log on with). Check the box at the bottom which says Replace owner on subcontainers and objects
Apply and ok out of all the windows - might take some time depending on how many files are there.

Now you should have access to do whatever you want with these files.

Thanks,
I'll have to try it on Sunday as I'm leaving for the weekend. I'll let you know how it works.

Garhar, it worked perfectly and fromthesticks, Unlocker deleted the stubborn ones that put up a fight, the HD is now clear. Thanks to both of you guys
