Default [Fixed] Windows Boot Problem!

My Pc is on a Startup "Crash" loop.

It attempts to boot up, but crashes. I get the Network Boot screen (asking me how I want to start Windows).
The default setting is "Start Windows Normally" - however the keyboard doesnt respond, so i cannot select Safe Mode.

I have tried booting from disc (keyboard works fine in BIOS when I select boot from CD).
However, I select CD, but before it does this, it takes me to one final menu asking me to confirm this.
it gives me two options - Boot from HDD, or CD. HDD is highlighted.
And I cant use the keyboard to tab down to CD option!! Infuriating!!!!

Is there any way I can get into Safe Mode or boot from CD without using the keyboard!!??

Hi Guderian!
Welcome to PC Helpforum!

Please post your problem only once so that we can help you much easier.
How're you trying to use the keyboard to switch options? Have you tried arrow keys, + and - key, all that stuff?
Have you tried to use another keyboard, as it seems to be a problem too in Windows start-up.

You can try tapping F8 on start-up: a boot device select screen will show up then.

Blue

Have tried every button the keyboard!!
Keyboard works to enable me to get into BIOS settings, and the arrow keys work once in there.
Other than that, nothing.
I just need it to work once, so I can tab up to "Safe Mode", or "Boot from CD" on the Network Boot Menu, but no response.

Hello Guderian

Welcome to PC Help Forums

As you can see I have deleted your second post as it was the same as your first, please don't worry about that as it can happen with a new poster.
However, what you may try is using the Page Up/Down keys to change the boot sequence.
Change it to the hard drive first, usually HDD0

@Blue: I have never seen a boot sequence on tapping F8 mate, a Start Up option yes but perhaps I'm getting old and furry.

You haven't? Instead of entering the BIOS to change the sequence, you can also boot quick from another device, through a small menu which is actually part of the BIOS. You can enter that using F8.

I can confirm that F8 does take me into a menu.
Trouble is, once I am there, the keyboard does not work.

Am at work now so cant try things but am convinced I have tried the up/down keys, as I think I pressed almost every key in an attempt to see if any did indeed work.
They didnt!
Tried the corresponding numbers too.
