Hard Drives - [Resolved] cant find hard drive posted in the Hardware forums; I have just put a slave drive on my pc, when i started windows it detected my drive but it is not showing in my computer. any ideas?...

I have just put a slave drive on my pc, when i started windows it detected my drive but it is not showing in my computer. any ideas?

Hya Smokeycheech.


Is the drive detected as "primary slave" in your bios?

And if you go to start/run/diskmgmt.msc , does the drive show up there?

Also is it a new or an old drive, is it already formatted, and does it have data on it?
