Default Even more problems

Ok my short lived problem free computing has ended.

Ok, so i format that drive to ntfs, and everything works great so i go "great lets move some data there.. 40gb of it.

20gb in the copy fails and the drive is no longer detected in my computer. On the drive manager it says the drive is "unreadable".

This drive only works when running through the sata card. I connect it to the board and it makes all sata cards not detected.

So i run it through the card.. Fair enough so i have to run my 40gb dedicated windows drive and my 250gb media drive on the same pci card, while my games 160gb sata drive runs directly through the board.

But why would it just fail like that. u think its a fauly 250gb hdd?

So a day passes. i reconnect the drive same as before.. this time.. everything is fine again.. data is back drive is readable.. But why did it fail? Will it fail again i hope not.. possibly i overloaded the cheap sata card i bought but i cirently doubt thats the case.

Oh well yeah illl be about the forums offering advice on thigns as ive already been doing. Thank for all your help.
