Exclamation Primary Harddrive 0 not found

I installed a new game on my Dell laptop and played it a couple of times. When i tried to play the game again the system crashed and on reboot i just got the message "Primary harddrive 0 not found".

I tryed to boot the laptop many times and all i got was this message over and over. So i took out the harddrive and put it back in again and the laptop started working fine again. I did notice that there was some very minor heat damage to the outer casing of the back of the laptop coving the harddrive, but this could have been like that for ages, im not sure.....What i really need to know is how can i prevent this from happening again, what caused it and has there been any permanent damage? Thank you for your help!

Hi Spicelondon. Welcome to the Forum.

I'd honestly say, take the laptop to where you got it from, and ask them to examine it while you're there. That kind of error cannot, unfortunatly, be easily diagnosed over the internet.
