hey im new
i was wondering if i can instasll my extra seagate 80gb hd on my dell dimension 2400. If possible are they any site with instructions or help with the install? any help would be appreciated.

you should be able to install your extra hard drive is it a ide or sata drive? and it also depends if you have an extra mounting area for the hard drive i will look for instructions on how to do this

i did get the hard drive installed thx
but now the problem is the computer only recognizes the drive having only 31 gb when its a 80 gb hd

i put the jumper in wrong now it recgonizes it
