Hi Guys:
Well, my hard drive is G and not C and I don;t know what I did wrong or how to fix it. Here's what I did so far:
1. Bolted everything together Intel D975XBX mobo, 2x WD 250 Gb Caviar SE 16, Sony DRU810A DVD Burner, Lite On CD Burner, EVGA 7300 GT Video
Card.
2. Booted to BIOS and enabled RAID
3. Booted into RAID Config and set up RAID 0 according to mobo manual
4. Booted to Windows CD and installed RAID Drivers
5. Booted to Windows CD and partitioned Hard Drive(s)
6. Booted to Windows CD and installed Windows
Now, in My Computer it's showing the Local drive as G: and two removable drives as C: and D: which I think are either the front I/O ports which I had to attach to one USB Header on the mobo and a combo floppy/card reader I attached to the other. But I can't tell as when I click on them it asks me to insert a disk.
1. What did I screw up?
2. How do I fix it?
Thanks a ton for all your help,
Bill

). But when doing this, find a convetional FDD (floppy disk drive) and install it hanging out the side of your case for the RAID drivers. Unplug the combo reader...and that should install it as C:

This will become a question, I think, if it hasn't already.... without the re-install and designation at that time... can it be done? Changing the drive lettering, I mean.... Not so much for the HD as the CD/DVD's.... ? I know that is a system doesn't know where to look, it just tries to... XP might have dealt with that, but I hear from folks around here who are having similiar troubles.
