Default Access denied !

i rencently hooked up my old hardrive to my new computer as a slave or secondary drive the drive opens up but does not allow me to open a specific folder in my documents and settings for a certain user ,the message says access denied !, this user was set not to allow other user profiles to view wats inside and was given administrator privilages how do i access this folder?

Have a look here for instructions on how to get access to that folder:

If you are using XP home then you'll need this info to be able to get to the "security tap" as mentioned in the instructions above.

the "security tap" method for xp home edition will not work i did the run method Go to START > RUN > type SHRPUBW but wat do i put in the "sharename" area it will not allow me to go further unless i put sumthing in the text box and random words will not work either Wat do i put in that box?

Afaik it doesn't matter what you putt there , but did you already select a folder after "folder to share"?

Or you could try the second method on page 2 , or the third on page 3.
