thanks for the quick answer.
I skimmed that article too as I googled "MECHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION", but I couldn't really figure out how this applied to my situation (It probably does, but I only have a limited understanding of hardware

)

The funny thing is I'm using my PC right now with kanotix (mentioned it earlier), and it's working fine, but Windows keeps dying...
Could it be sth to do with the drivers?
