Howdy MasterZ and welcome to the forums,
Sorry to be the one to tell you this but this could spell out bad news if you dont have an OS disc or a recovery disc. Do you have an XP or another windows disc? If not you will have to go buy another to get any files back from your pc.

If you have an XP cd then you can just boot of that cd (make sure the bootorder in the bios is set to boot from cd first) and install XP on that pc.

Have a look here for instructions if needed:

Hey Guys,

@Master Z, my welcome to the forums to you as well. I am interested in a couple of things that you left out of your original post.

How did you wipe your HDD w/o making a backup?

When you purchased your PC, did it come with the OS alread installed? If so, it may be that you wiped out your harddrive, but not the recover drive, which would be on a seperate partition.

Can you please boot your PC with one of the bootdisks, and type in FDISK at the prompt. This utility should be able to tell you if you in fact have a seperate partition that you might be able to use to restore your PC.

Also, please post the make and model of the PC along with the answers to my other quesitons.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW
