How did you wipe your HDD w/o making a backup?

When you purchased your PC, did it come with the OS alread installed? If so, it may be that you wiped out your harddrive, but not the recover drive, which would be on a seperate partition.

Can you please boot your PC with one of the bootdisks, and type in FDISK at the prompt. This utility should be able to tell you if you in fact have a seperate partition that you might be able to use to restore your PC.

Also, please post the make and model of the PC along with the answers to my other quesitons.

Looking forward to your reply,

:o Ouch! That must have hurt!

OK, that means you still probably have your restore point on your PC.

What happens when you put in the bootdisk?

If it asks you if you want to install 2K, that's fine, it will probably pull all of the information from your restore partition, and take you back to factory original installation. (Unfortunately, your files are probably gone, as the program you used erased your files system, recovery would be very difficult, and spotty at best.)

If it won't let you go forward, please go to bootdisks.com, get a Win 2000 bootdisk, and see if you can get to the command propt. Then follow the previous instructions.

Looking forward to your reply,

When I put in the boot disks it tells me to put in the second one then the third and fourth then it says "click r for repair" and "click c for the recovery console" The disks dont really bring me to a prompt there more like setup disks instead of boot disks, I might have the wrong ones.

Hey MasterZ,

Actually it sounds as if you have the disks that you create for just such a situation as yours.

Have you tried following the instructions on the disks? As I said before, you have a partition that holds all of the original information in your PC to bring it back to factory original. Those disks are designed to communicate with that partition, allowing it to reinstall the OS.

Try following the default prompts, and post back with the results.
