I connected the floppy via the USB. Had no problem installing. However, it did not show up anywhere on the Drives. I checked in Device Manager and there it was,(no yellow ! mark) checked under "properties and it told me that it was working (joke!)
I then went to the BIOS (as advised by Seagate) and found that it was connected to the SATA. He told me change it from SATA to ATA (don't know how and am afraid to meddle with the BIOS).
The floppy is unplugged but yesterdsay I got a message telling me that something was overheating (51degrees) I have never had this problem before installing the floppy.
I also read an article in Microsoft that the Home editions has 4 drives. Inorder to give us 4 drives they have removed the floppy feature. ????? Can this be?
I would really like to use this floppy to make start up discs but obviously it does not work. ANY advise in getting this going would be greatly appreciated.
In anticipation........regards
