I am wanting to take the hard drive out of my old computer and use as an external hard drive for my new one. I know i have to buy a case for this but i am not sure what size, looking on e-bay they are all either 3.5" or 2.5" which dosn't seem to fit the hard drive i have. Also is there anything else i should know. thanks

As for the 2.5/3.5 issue, considering the hard drive is from a desktop computer, it will (99% certainty) be a 3.5
