I have already looked under removeable store and everyway i can think of. Its not possible to install inside the pc.

You can physically remove the drive from the external case, and temporarily connect it to any ide port available inside your computer. set the jumper for slave and hook up the ribbon cable, and power cable. Just let it sit on the bottom of the case until you get the files you need off it. If it is not recognized hooked up directly, then the hard drive may be bad. Xp and the disk manager should see it hooked up this way. gtoguy4
