General SATA Question

i am still only currently running on an 7200rpm maxtor 80gig IDE cable hard drive and i thought about getting two 120gig SATA drives and putting them in RAID, (so it loads quicker)

wot i wantt o know is can i instal these and still keep windows and docs on the old harddrive but put ma games on the RAIDed hard drives

will this work, cos i cant see another question like it

Yes you can do this, however I am not sure if you will notice any speed differences because your OS/drivers e.t.c will still be running on the old (IDE) hard drive.

But yes you can connect the SATA drives and run them as a slave in your system and use it to install games to.
