I currently have a 160GB Ultra DMA Hard drive.

I dont know anything about hard drive except size. I want to upgrade to a 300gb hard drive. Does anyone have any suggestions?

problem is. I dont know anything about hard drive and dont know what speed is good.

if you look at the RPM you notice that there are 2 types of RPM 7200RPM and 5400 RPM. And compare he seek time.
(as i am aware the quickers RPM is in the 10000)
