a Nobody, says he didn't need the cds so let me do some research on how you would access that, and I will get back to you, unless someone beats me to it. LOL

See if she has this in her startmenu:

"Start>All Programs>Hewlett-Packard>HP Pavilion PC Tools" and if she has , then if you click on "HP PC System Recovery" , the recovery process should start.

You could do as Joe5 say's or upon boot up press F10 and that will startup the like factory condition's.
And to make Reovery cd's or dvd's click start //all program's//PC help tools// Hp cd, dvd recovery creator. and it will have you put in about 12 cd's or 2 dvd's.
