I was wondering if someone could give me the instructions of changing the onboard hard drive (the hard drive the computer comes with) with another onboard hard drive.

E.G. Put the onboard harddrive from comp 1 into comp 2, and take the harddrive thats already in comp 2 out. Before putting in the harddrive from comp 1, of course

All you have to do is open your case you will see a flat long ribbon cable. Follow that cable to themotherboard and take it out gently. And then take it out of the hard dirve gently as not to rip the IDE (flat ribbon) cable. And there is your hard drive #1 now it depends what you want to do with hd #1 99% of the time if you just want to put it into a new computer it is not going to work like it hsould because it will still have information left over from the other computer on it. Can you tell me what operating system you are using? e.g. XP 98 etc?
