Default [Fixed] NTLDR Missing.

I recently put together a new pc.? It's got a KT880 Soyo Dragon 2 v 2.0 motherboard. I've already put windows xp home edition on the new 250 GB hard drive.? I also want to install an 80 GB hard drive from my old comp to the new one WITHOUT losing all my data.? Trouble is, whenever I hook the other one up, I get the "NTLDR missing, press ctrl alt delete to restart".? It looks like what's happening is that it's trying to boot from the old disk instead of the new one.? When I go to the IDE config in the CMOS Setup Utility, the old drive appears as the primary IDE master and the new drive doesn't seem to be there at all.? What should I do?

Alright what you need to do is change the jumper settings on your old hard drive to "slave"

Have a look at this tutorial, it shows you how to change your jumper setting.

http://www.pchelpforum.com/component...0/topic,823.0/

So make sure that your new hard drive is set to "master" and your old drive is set to "slave"
