thanks ill give this memory tester ago tonight and see what i get emm that qoute you send with the start run sequence it just shows the dos window for botu 1 sec then its gone :S lol is thta right

Try it like this : start > run > cmd > sfc /scannow

i have listened and the click comes from the front end of the pc so id say its deffently the hard drive :| y does the HD die for ??

That's a really good question and i think there are ALOT of people asking the same question
