I just recieved all the parts for my new pc because my shuttles powersource and space were not cutting it. I put it all together and went to boot it and it turns on for about 2 seconds then all the fans stop and the power led light flashes. Any ideas on why this is happeneing i took all the screws out of the board to make sure they were not grounding it and it has spacers between it and the case so i have no idea.

I would think that if it was shorting you wouldn't actually get it to boot in the first place.

Does your board have any diagnostic beeps or led's ?
Is your CPU heatsink properly seated with the right amount of heat compound?
Did you clear the CMOS on the board?
