I have two hdd.. one is c(ntfs-10gb) and the other one is d and e(fat32-partioned 40 gb each)...
c is my primary for windows system....I think my pc is infected with virus...
when this morning...its like the d and e is hidden...and I can't accessed it anywhere...
I tried search,run,type in the address field...nothing...there is no d and e volumes found in mypc!!..
the weird thing is I detected it in my bios! and it worked fine...when I go to mycomp>>manage>>device Manager>>disk drives>>it was there!!...devices status said there was no problem at all....but when I go to volumes tab,and populate...the status is unreadable!!.... help me pliz...somebody help me pliz...something is screwing with my pc... :cry: :cry: I know it's a virus when sometimes my recycle bin went full and when I tried to empty it, "Do you want to delete "WINDOWS"?" pop up...I cursed the guy who made this virus cause I've been searching the whole net and found nothing about this virus,scanned and etc....this virus is resident in the hdd and cannot be formatted...just wanted you guys to know that I've been through a lot....maybe someone here can help me....help me plizz... :-(

Once you have installed it you can run a scan on the system and find out the name of the virus. Once we know the name we can sort out a better solution to the problem.

Also try boot your machine into Windows Safe Mode and see whether you can see you other Hard drives from there.

hurm...I rebooted in the safe mode,but my other hdd is nowhere to be found...
its like it didn't exist... :cry: my game shorcut on the desktop is all useless now..
can you tell me something?....is it possible my hdd could be damage in just one day?..
it doesn't even tell a sign....I opened my pc cover and checked the cable and wires and they all look fine...how do I access it?....is there any system configuration I suppose to check?...
can I access the hdd using ms dos?if I can,how?

It is a very good Antivirus system?

One thing you could check is Disk Management.
Go into control panel, then Administrative tools then Computer Management.
Now go down to Disk Management and see what drives you can see there.

all I can see is the main c drives only.... :cry:
I mean where is this other hdd??....The only way I can detect it is in bios...all 80gb of it...

That is strange because even if the drive has lost its partition it should still show up in Computer Management.
Try the following:

Open your PC case and disconnect all drives except for the C drive.
(disconnect your CD-ROM as well)
Now connect your 80Gig drive to the same cable that the CD-ROM was running on, boot it up and see whether you can see it.
