o dear god,it doesn't show....oh man...does this mean the drive is damage?
but I didn't do a thing before it goes undetected...it's a western digital hard disk drives..
I change the jumper to cable select and slave mode and boot...nothing happen... :cry: :cry:
is the data corrupt or something? how is this possible? I was hearing music on drive d the night before and it goes missing in the morning?..I remember not doing anything nasty to the drive.... :-(

Double check the jumper settings - it sounds like you may have set it slightly wrong if the drive has "dis-appeared".

Also, in windows if you can see the drive in Computer Management then un-install it and re-boot. Windows should re-install it by itself

jumper....nope...nothing...I switched to "slave",and reboot,and then "cable select" and reboot..nothing happen..
and the uninstall thingy....It doesn't work either.... :cry:

Does the drive even start up when you switch the PC on?

owh...I can feel it moving alright..and when I unplugged it,it's hot "like its working properly" :lol:...huh :x.....its only appearing in bios....not windows...except the device manager...not appearing in disk management either... :-(

Sounds like your drive could be dead

Is it still under guarantee ? If it is then throw it back to the retailer asap!
