Hello Njomi - welcome back!
I personally have 2 Sapphire 4870's and I have no issues with them ![]() I will mark this as open for you so you can gain opinions as to what would be considered the best - but I think Sapphire will be up there ![]() Regards, Smokeycheech

Sapphire is a good choice for gaming performance usually only found in high-end graphics cards, but you will pay a lot for this card.
I would also suggest you consider VisionTek. VisonTek makes a good card for the money too (around $140) Cheapest option for a quality card might be the Gigabyte GV-R467D3-1GI (at around $115) |

If there has to be a best brand then it has to be Sapphire.

Reporting a GPU (or anything else for that matter) has a heating problem doesn't mean much without also knowing the ambient case temperature, GPU fan speed, etc. Also, were the cards in question factory or user Overclocked? The If's and Maybe's could be endless.
