Question Disabling integarated graphics

Hello, I am in the process of building the ultimate dos gaming pc and I have a socket 7 motherboard with integrated graphics, and I am trying to disable the onboard VGA because there is only a black screen when the PC turns and I plan on putting a PCI graphics card to replace the onboard ATi Rage II chip. Any help? Ask if you need more info!

Just put the new card in, plug the moitor into it, install the drivers.

Yes, I have inserted the card just to try it out, theres still a black screen, but that is because I don't know how to disable the graphics chip with nothing on screen
