Also have you made it into Bios to disable onboard/enable the pci-e slot? If you don't have your BIOS settings correct then the computer may not detect the card, and if the computer won't detect the card then Nvidia install wizard will prob think you don't have the proper hardware in your computer and refuse to install. You HAVE to get the BIOS settings correct, and it's different for every board so you are just going to have to play around and figure out what those are.

Other possibilities is that your card is doa, you don't have it seated/installed properly, or there is something wrong with the slot.

Is there another computer you can try this card in?

Yes, none of them work.

I examined and re-examined my BIOS and nothing caught my attention relevant to SiS. I checked out Integrated Peripherals and the PCI-E slot was enabled but it reported it empty.

DOA? I believe it's seated properly. I double-checked this so many times. It's IN, cuz the fan's running when I turn on the comp. The video card works, the system just isnt accepting it.

Btw, I'm not getting video from either card right now. So much for editting the BIOS... I can't see what I'm doing. And I'm NOT risking this with my other comp. And yes I tried to remove my new video card, I'm still not getting any video.

Is there a jumper somewhere to reset my BIOS?

Nvm I reset the BIOS via the jumper and got the signal back.

Why was this marked as resolved? My new video card is still not working.
