I'm a little confused about something to do with these components. I've been advised to get this mobo chipset and this graphics card and even though 780i mobos are DDR2 will the 9800GTX work in there, even though it is DDR3?
It's just a little nooby question because I am a little noob but if someone could answer and maybe offer an explanation that would be very much appreciated.
Can be locked/tagged as answered/eaten when I have been given a good answer.

The DDR2 RAM as required/used for your motherboard has absolutely nothing to do with the DDR3 RAM utilized by your graphics card.
