Hello Josh,

I believe you are asking for is using SLI mode.

What SLI does is use two video cards you install into the PCI-E x16 slots as one. there is a little SLI bridge that comes with the mother board. you install the cards then put the bridge in the notches on top. very easy to install.

I would recommend using a different motherboard though because that board you have is made for ATI cards and you have picked a Nvidia card.

With all due respect joeyfine, your statement that the AMD board 'is made for' ATI cards appears to be incorrect. While it is true that SLI is an nVidia protocol and Crossfire is an ATI protocol, the board will work fine with either brand card as long as the cards support SLI or Crossfire respectively.

Apparently there is a current belief that since AMD now owns ATI, there is some unwritten requirement to use ATI cards with AMD boards. This belief is unfounded, based on some phone calls I've just made to the manufacturers's Tech Support.

Once you buy the motherboard and video cards, the instructions will guide you to the correct location of the interconnecting strap. It's very simple to do.
