Ahhhhh! we got it! Turns out the BIOS wasn't cool taking on 4gb of ram without a little configuration with only 1 stick in. It's fully operational and i'm even on it right now.

Thank you very much for the hasty replies joeyfine. I'll keep this place bookmarked incase I have future issues. Other sites i posted at before this one still haven't even replied yet.

Haha what a weird setting. I plugged the PSU in last when hooking it up every time since, so i'm not sure if it's still doing it. I'll have to see when i get home. Work is the worst thing ever when you have a new computer sitting at home..=(
