I was wondering if I need more power supply if I upgrade my video card??

We need a bit more info, what GFX card are you upgrading to and how many Watts is your present PSU?

I want to get the EVGA GeForce 6200 PCI 256MB DDR2 Video Card. I have 250 watts.

Yes, upgrade your PSU, not just because of the card but 250w is VERY low by todays standards, I recommend 350w as a good minimum (for those with the 1 HD, 1 CD/DVD, low spec systems). Go here: eXtreme Power Supply Calculator Lite v2.5 and fill in the questions as best you can, then add 100 to the number it gives you and you'll have your minimum...if it comes out as less than 350w I'd still get at least a 350 to be safe

Do I need to do this or will my card still work without upgrading??

It will still work but as I found out when I had an underpowered PSU, what will happen is that when you are playing games the card will cause the picture to lock up, freeze or the screen will go black
