Default EE video card for gaming

Im getting a GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H, it has on board video but I don't think its good for gaming.
If I get a separate card can I still use the onboard video for my tv?
Can someone recommend a low power video card for moderate gaming.
It should have very low idle as the pc will stay on almost 24/7.

No. If you are looking for an all purpose card, that will give you some good gaming performance, i recommend this.

Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100236L Radeon HD 3650 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Its not the best for gaming, but its pretty good. Actually, for casual gaming, and moderate gaming, the integrated graphics is pretty good. It is the best Integrated solution on the market. I have the older version (the 690G in my laptop) and it can play WoW at 1440x 800 with 2x AA and medium high settings at playable framerates. I have the 2600XT in my computer which is slightly better than the 3650, but the 3650 uses a bit less power, and runs a bit cooler. like i said before, the processor at 2.5ghz will be plenty fast for most gaming.

No, but there isnt really any need to. At idle, the 3650 uses very little power, and if you need to lower it anymore, you can slow it down using Catalyst supposedly. Mine is a little older model and doesn t support that. And you can also output to your TV from the 3650 at the same time.

Im sorry, i take that back. you CAN, but the drivers arent mature, and the performance will be very lackluster until such a time. That 3650 has a low enough power consumption to be used in an htpc, and if want to save a bit more, the ATi 780g integrated will be pretty goood.
