If you've got a 7300GS, you've more then likely got a PCI-e interface which means you can fit any of the newer PCI-e cards. However, your PowerSupply may or may not be able to handle more powerful cards.

Here's a great resource for determining if your PC can run a ceratin game.
If you want to run a specific item it will tell you where you rank--- and you can tell if you need an upgrade.

Can You RUN It?

So i have to watch out for the power supply ? Is there anything else to look for ? I do think i have pci-e thats rings a bell but i want to find out exactly what i go up to , for instance the newer cards 8800 , 9600 ? Is there a site that can state that i can take these by the site getting the pc's info online ?

Many Thanks .

Use one of these tools: Your PC - Detailed Info - PC Help Forum - Free Computer Help, Windows, Hardware, Software and more! - find out your motherboard make and model number, post it back here and someone should be able to tell you.

the thing is... usually the more powerful the card-- the more demanding of power it becomes--especially when you get into dual video cards (SLI OR CROSSFIRE)-- though these are not really necessary unless you want top of the line performance. Basically SLI means that you have TWO video cards "bridged" to run as one super-card.

and some enthusiasts question whether SLI etc are really worth the money vs performance gain.
