Here's an interesting fact though. I installed Battlefield 2142 last night laughs and giggles. Mostly because if I wanted to see if it would start freezing like TF2. I played for like 2 hours without a single freeze, or anything. I played in single player on the same map over and over just to make sure that I wouldn't give my pc the time to slow down. Then I was went back into TF2 and it started again after an hour....
My BIOS being out of date was one of my first concerns when I ran Everest. So I took the appropriate steps to update it. I just don't understand this stuff isn't more than 2 and a half years old. I've heard of people putting a brand new GPU in a 4 year old pc. Is my hardware really that out of date?
well its the Asrock Duals they were mixed up chipsets to get everything on one board im not saying there is anything wrong with it as I said before im clutching lol
Just something I was thinking about last night. Is there anyway, through means of a program or otherwise, that some of the stress can be taken off of the CPU and maybe redistributable to ram, or the GPU? Or am I just in lala land .

Modern graphics cards have processors on them. These processors do some of the work that the CPU used to do.
So you could say that they take some of the stress off of the CPU.
Alright then as a last ditch effort, just to see if it works, what does everyone think about overclocking my CPU? Would it be to risky? I just want to see if its the CPU or not. What are your thoughts on this?
Alright well I was really bored yesterday so I decided to go ahead, and overclock it anyways. At this point I figured I had pretty little to lose. It would either work, or not work. Or the CPU would have a melt down and explode, and I'd have to change it anyways....well maybe not so much explode...well I tried it and got it from 2.2GHz to 2.4GHz. The darn thing is still freezing on me. So I'm deciding to just change out the processor. What do you guys think about this one
Would this little fella here be compatible with my current motherboard, and the rest of my hardware? If you have any suggestions to a better CPU I'm all ears. I'll take any help I can get.

you will have to check compatability with your Motherboard on the makers website . You will at least need an upto date bios . I personally would buy an AM2+ Motherboard to go with it
