Default SLI Help!!

I've got dual 7600gt's (SLI obviously) in my computer, and they do not seem to be running like they should. I hadn't really looked into how well they were running until quite recently, when a friend of mine said he was getting 30+ fps on TF2, (with the same setup, on medium to high settings) while I was getting 30-fps in the same server, with low settings.. I'm starting to think my SLI wasn't setup correctly, but I go through the directions, and after a recent format, it asked if I would like to turn SLI on, like supposed to. Any ideas?

If I remember correctly you need to enable SLI in your drivers, and make sure the cards are properly installed and powered.

hello hemoglowen,

have you installed the updated nvidia drivers? if you have you need to go to your video settings and hit "enable SLI"

yah, ive hit the "Enable SLI" thing and it says its on. i think this is something to do with the software. My cards are powered correctly, but i think it still only senses one of my cards, but if that were the case why would it let me enable sli....Well anyhow, I have the updated drivers, and they are hooked up right...Ive had this problem ever since i first put them in (not that i noticed at first, but thinking about it now, it is somewhat apparent my system isnt running at full capability). Ill dink around with some of the settings and see if anything changes, which i highly doubt it will. Thanks guys. and if you think of anything else let me know!!! please!

**EDIT**...ok..well i was looking around and I noticed under "other devices" in the device manager thing, the "other PCI bridge device" has no drivers?...Im not exactly sure what the PCI bridge device does.-_- but i googled it and i thogut it was worth posting about....

Try this, remove both cards, and run them one at a time and make sure that both of your cards are running correctly

Um, you have the little bracket thingy connecting the two cards right? I think that would be what it is
