Default Help: S-Video

I am using an acer aspire that has an ATI Radeon 2400 graphics card. the card has 3 outputs, VGA, DVI, and S-Video. I am using dual monitors with the DVI and VGA, but it won't let me set up a third with the S-Video. does anyone know how i can do this?

I don't think it's an actual "S-Video" out but it's one of those TV-out connectors, and you need an adapter cable, that gives you a series of output lines, either S-Video, or component. I could be wrong of course.

I also remember, when I had an ATI card, I had to *enable* TV-output through the driver UI

You are correct on one part, it is labeled tv out, not s video. but its not that i'm having trouble making it work, see i can make it display on my television, but not at the same time as both monitors. it will only let me use 2 displays at a time, and i am trying to use 3, which makes snse to me because the card has 3 outputs.

Ah, right. It's something to do with Windows not allowing you to have more then 2 display on one card if I remember correctly, though there is a way around that as I've managed it, and I know my roommate is using 3 displays off one card as well.

Are you using the ATI drive UI or going from the Window's Display options?
