Default Geforce 8300 GS

Don't be too quick to write it off as Garbage and throw it on the Scrap Heap.

I just took the leap into PCI-E, with a CHEAPO Dell, but with a Q6600, I'll live

That 8300, on all the copy you can get your hands on, says 128MB

BUT on dxdiag it shows 512MB, plus a few other places on my machine

Can't Prove anything but I have my suspicions, the Hot Cards like the 8800's, run DDR3

Geforce 8400 GS is 512MB DDR2

Something tells me, that 8300 is plain old 512MB

Ran a program. I had . . System Spec . . Basically the same thing

Turns out it is 512, But while I paid for 3GB RAM, I only got 2
