right my brother sold me this old pc for 30£ a Emechines 2230 with onboard intel Gfx controller a 478 intel celeron D 2.53Ghz cpu and only four pci x1 slots so i put a old 4000mx 64mb card into it and it started i installed a game for my wife (sims2) if was going ok for a wile and it just frezed would not power off i unpluged it & pluged it back in all the fans spin up but nothing on screen monitor keeps going into sleep mode if i unplug & replug tryed my other monitor nothing

so i buy anew mobo a Biostar p4m900-m4 some ddr2 512 and new power supply because old board was 20-pin this needed 24-pin i place back old cpu i put in a old gfx card 6600 and same problem for both onboard gfx and the 6600 card nothing comes up on screen

any ides would be kindly appreciated (sorry for my very bad gramma and spelling )

You need to make sure the onboard video is disabled in the bios Ineverwin. Doing this should clear up the conflict.

it wont boot up so i cant get to bios ive taken out the hd - dvd - all cards -
just mobo & cpu & used onboard slot but nothing?
