Hello us1903, welcome to PCHF.

Can you describe these white stripes in more detail? Have you tried using a different monitor?

OK that does make the monitor less likely, but I can't see any white stripes or tail like things on that screen shot. There are some area's which are blacked out though, such as the status bar at the bottom of Mozila?

No it's not that, but i am certainly seeing white tail like stripes. I doubt it's a problem with my graphics card is it so? If so can it be fixed or will i have to go for a new one?
Thanks in advance!

hmmmm, without further information, I really can't say for certain.

Since the screenshot you posted shows no signs on any anomalies, we know for certain it's not a Windows or driver issue. Your graphics, at least at a software level is fine, leaving the graphics card or monitor. What is strange is that beyond the GPU, it's just data and don't really see how it could make a difference weather it's text or graphics. To be absolutely sure, I would grab another monitor to test (maybe from a friend)?
