Graphics - Media center file types? posted in the Hardware forums; Hi, im not sure if this is the right section to post this but here goes...I run windows vista ultimate and i have it hooked up to my xbox 360. ...

Default Media center file types?
Hi, im not sure if this is the right section to post this but here goes...I run windows vista ultimate and i have it hooked up to my xbox 360. The connection is fine but I am unable to play any of my videos through it. Do you know what kind of files it will play, ive had problems with avi, Mpeg and Mpeg2!

From the XBox FAQ;
Regarding video codecs, the Xbox 360 will be play anything that a Windows Media Center PC streams to it, so the question of the codec applies more to the PC, not the Xbox 360 which simply act as an extender.
