Default Upgrading my Graphics Card

I have bought a Nvidia 6800GS as an Upgrade from my 6200. As you know this requires it's own power input to which I have bought a Molex Y Splitter cable. I have a 400W power supply and I'm scared that it's not enough to run the card and all the other components. Will it be enough or will I have to buy a bigger power supply, if so which size do I buy?

Hi milolover and welcome to PCHF, if you go here> eXtreme Power Supply Calculator v2.5 you can work out if you need to upgrade the power supply or not

Default Re: Upgrading my Graphics Card

It depends on the rest of your system, but i feel fairly confident that 400w will be enough
