I just purchased a new Acer with an ATI Radeon X1250. The PC has a composite video out. I was told by the retailer that I could just connect a video cable from there to the back of my TV. Did this...switched TV to video...nothing. Tried using Vista's Settings but it won't find the TV. Went through ATI Catalyst and tried to "Detect Display" again it does not find it. Any help would be appreciated. Did the seller feed me line? Neither the PC or the TV have S-video. TV only has coax or composite audio video. I just want to watch DIVX movies etc!

Thanks for the reply Cart! I checked with the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Thier responce was "it should work".. No S%$T Sherlock! Hopefully someone has some ideas. I double checked to make sure I had all of the updates in Vista in case I was missing anything. Also downloaded any updates for the Radeon.
