Default [Answered] Graphics Card -> Monitor

Might sound kinda retarded but is it possible to connect my analog output from my desktop pc to my laptops monitor since my desktops monitor got ruined? I tried plugging it in the analog port of the laptop but its propably only one way output. Right?

Yes, that socket is output not input, and cannot be used the way your talking about.

The only way you could use that screen is either to purchase a USB TV device which will have an S-Video in port, or to strip that laptop apart, seperate the screen and convert those connections. Your laptop will end up looking something like this:

haha no I prefer not to make my laptop look like this *sniff*, how can I wait till Monday to buy a new monitor while my friends are playing COD 4
