Default Nvidia en7300GS card problem.

I used to have this graphics card and it shut down on me so I exchanged for the exact same one. But when I play Need for Speed now it seems to lags, chokes and now it even freezes at game screen only for a few seconds. I do not know if it is hardware problem or not. I tried other games it seems to be fine but I do not know if it is the same level as NFS so I will need another game to check it out but i do not know which game to try out.

Also I changed the video setting to full detail and high screen resolution and the game becomes even more slow. Should this be normal? I thought turning my graphics card full blast is normal and the graphics card would be able to take is. Is that how most peoples use the graphics card?

Welcome to PCHF freefaller

The 7300 is a fairly old card and won't handle much in the way of gaming. What version of Need for Speed are you trying to play, I will look up the system requirements for it.

Also what are the other specs of your PC, such as CPU.
