Default video viewing problem

while trying to view video on MSN, it will run until the white slider catches up to the orange the slider , then it will stop. The orange slider will advance a bit and the video will start again. It may do this 3-4 times during the entire video . Is this a problenm with my graphics hardware? We have a Geforce6100 in our Gateway, just 1 yr old, running windowsxp. thanks for any ideas.

Hello and Welcome to PC Help Forum Cruzzonn. The problem is in your throughput not your PC. You see...the net is not feeding the video fast enough. To help with the problem you can set your media player to buffer more of the video before it plays. This way you will have fewer pauses.

Please enjoy the forum Cruzzonn. You will find PCH the friendliest place on the web.

Its not a computer problem. Its an internet problem. In order to save time, most videos play while they are being downloaded. The problem you have, is that the video is not downloading fast enough to maintain playing. The orange slider is how much has been downloaded.
